Blackstone Optometrists is a well established, Independent practice in Beaconsfield, having been part of the community for nearly 40 years. Owned by Jonathan Nesbitt, an Optometrist with 25 years experience, it continues in that same tradition of first-class service with the latest products and treatments.

We continually invest in new technology, such as the Visioffice to assist our Dispensing Opticians in providing more accurate, up-to-date spectacle lenses,  OCT and Retinal Fundus camera to examine the retina in detail , and now our recently updated Consulting room with new Slit lamp and camera, Corneal Topographer and Automated Phoropter, which will continue our tradition of offering the best in quality eye care,  creating the most detailed images of the eye for investigation.

It is a modern practice, with Jonathan and Andrea taking a keen interest in up-to-date developments and research. We provide all types of Contact lenses, from the latest Daily Disposables, to the most complicated irregular cornea lenses.

Blackstone Optometrists is a ‘community practice’ offering a personalised and friendly service, with the freedom to supply the latest and best optical products to his patients. Our staff are committed to the ideals of the business and we pride ourselves on offering a dedicated service to our patients.

Spectacle and contact lenses are available to a very wide range of prescriptions suitable for all ages. The practice also has an extensive range of fashion frames.

Our other specialist service is ‘Vision Therapy’. We are accredited Behavioural Optometrists, and in 2008 a specialist suite was established above the practice. We train individuals to help them understand and overcome specific motor visual problems such as tracking and fixating.
